STS App Review

STS is a traditional online bookmaker that was founded in Eastern Europe. The brand is owned by Vivaro Limited, a company that has been registered in Malta since December 2008. STS are now expanding into the UK market and are licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission. How To Use The STS App 

At the time of writing there was no dedicated downloadable app for the STS sportsbook. However, the operator is trying to gain market share in the UK market where all the major brands have developed an app or a mobile website. iOS 

A STS sports betting app cannot currently be downloaded from the iTunes store to iOS devices such as the iPad and iPhone. A dedicated app for iOS devices should appear soon but at the moment thee have been no announcements.   

Android 

Google Play does not promote gambling apps so there is no download from that store available. At the moment Android users cannot download the apk file from the website which means the desktop version cannot be installed on an Android device.

PC 

The STS website is fully optimised for web browsers on mobile devices. The website version can be accessed when a smartphone or tablet is connected to the internet. There is a process to install a shortcut to the app on the Home screen. All the markets that can be found on the desktop version are available on mobile devices. The welcome offer and ongoing offers for existing customers are available on both platforms. However, there are no mobile specific concessions and bonuses.

In-Play

‘In-Play’ is the first option on the main menu on the STS Homepage. Selecting this option takes users to the main live betting page which is full of live events across several sports. At the time of writing there were over 70 live events of which half were related to football. Tennis accounted for the next highest number of live events and there were also fin-play for fixtures for another six sports and Esports. There is no live streaming but bettors can view a graphical representation of the action and refer to live statistics that are updated as incidents take place. Betting markets are not available after a significant event such as a goal in football or break of serve in tennis. 

Sports Betting

‘Sport’ is the second menu option on the Homepage of the STS website. The main sports page displays a number of current live matches. Betting markets are displayed under the headings of ‘Top Leagues’ and ‘Bet on Sports’. STS offers odds on about 40 betting sports listed in approximate order of popularity. At the time of writing there were about 1000 current markets and more than half were related to football. Tennis and basketball are the next most popular betting sports. Mobile customers with STS can also bet on Esports, Politics, Chess and TV Shows and Movies. Sports betting is available in pre-match, live and ante-post markets.

There are no mobile specific promotions with STS but existing customers can benefit from a number of ongoing promotions which complement the welcome offer which is described below. There is also a casino welcome offer for £50 which comes in the form of a bonus that requires qualifying bets for £30. Current players are entitled to free bets on the Polish Ekstraklasa and German Bundesliga. The STS welcome offer is for an average amount and some bookmaker’s offer more valuable new customer bonuses. However, the value of the first bet is the same as the bonus so the STS offer is an achievable 100% matched bet bonus. The timescales are feasible and there are no hidden rules that negate the benefits. The free bet token can be used on pre-match and in-play sports betting markets but not in the casino. 

STS Payment Methods 

STS allows all customers to deposit and withdraw funds using debit and credit cards, e-Wallets, prepaid safe cards and Bank Transfer. STS Summary 

STS are new to the UK market in which the competition is dominated by the trusted and established brands. STS compete well in terms of betting markets and odds for pre-match and in-play betting. However, the lack of live streaming and adequate support are issues that need to be addressed as a matter of urgency. If these features are implemented correctly STS will provide mobile and PC customers with a good all-round sports betting service.
